Back in the 1980's husband and wife duo Mick and Pauline McDonagh began their Re-Upholstery business called Compórd Teo.
The family then bought into the franchise Apollo Blinds a few doors down from Galway Upholstery and Curtains business in Westside Business Centre.
After a few years they moved the blind business to their hometown Bealadangan in Connemara and have been expanding ever since.
Mick soon followed and moved the upholstery section of Galway Upholstery and Curtains to Bealadangan and Pauline eventually moved the curtain department too.
After providing an exceptional service to the Connemara, Mayo and Galway regions since the early 80's Mick retired a few years back and Pauline attempted retirement unsuccessfully until 2023!
